He was predeceased by : his parents, George W. Fleming and Carol J Fleming (Sheerer); his brother Alex Fleming; and his nephew Andrew Baeumler. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Sims (Wiest); his children, Leslie Schiermyer (Adam) of Queen Creek, AZ, Elizabeth Collins (Tim) of Queen Creek, AZ and Alan Fleming (Katie) of Marshall, MI; the mother of his children Nancy Sims of Marshall, MI; his sisters, Georgia Fleming, Beth Fleming Brown (Phillip) of Windermere, FL, April Rodsiller of Barbourville, KY and Susan Blight (Ken) of Albion, MI; and his grandchildren, Addison, Millie, Crew, Owen, Emerson, Zachary and Mollie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (303 S Hillsdale St, Homer, MI 49245).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8516, https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Memorial contributions may also be mailed to the funeral home for delivery to the charity.
