With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Raymond Wylie of Deerfield, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, whose life came to an end on April 25, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman B. Wylie and Florence Wylie (Edmondson); his daughter Sherry Lynn Wylie; his siblings, Coralee Goins, Don Wylie (Evelyn), Ruth Ellison (Carl), Marie Estep, Theo Wylie, Gene Wylie, Bill Wylie (Betty) and Bobby Wylie (Jean); and his son-in-law James Brown.
He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Mae Wylie of Deerfield; his children, Paula Doherty (Pat) of Monroe, Cindy Brown (John Carpenter) of Manitou Beach, James Wylie Jr. "Jimbo" (Criss) of Deerfield, David "Bud" Wylie (Denise) of Deerfield and Rhonda Branscum (Bruce) of Deerfield; and his grandchildren, Patience, Penny, Eric, Deanna, Paul, Patrick, Missy, Preston, Sam, Doug, Cassie, Dan, Andrew, Sarah and Katie. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Alphonsus Church (222 Carey St, Deerfield, MI 49238).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation.
