We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Betty Truax (Hopkins, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George Hammer and Jessie Hammer (Sweezy); her husband Gerald Truax; her daughter Janice Thomas; her siblings, Larry Hammer (Myrna), Wendel Hammer (Rose), Grant Hammer (Beulah), Ed Hammer (Margaret), Doris Harvish (Pete), Joan Felker (Albert) and Vivian Erelewine (Joe); and her granddaughters, Gina and Kristi.
She is survived by : her children, Gary Truax (Betty), Darlene Morley (Fred), Bruce Truax (Sharon) and Neil Truax (Linda Simmons); her son-in-law Kenneth Thomas; and her sister Donna Youtzy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to Wings of Hope Hospice (530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010).
