She was predeceased by : her husband Robert; and her brother Jim Heyboer. She is survived by : her sons, John Veenstra (Kathy) and Ron Veenstra (Denise); her grandchildren, Rebecca Brown (Robert), John Jr. Veenstra (Ashley), Jason Veenstra (Katy), Michael Veenstra (Samantha), Andrew Veenstra and Aften Bottenfield; her great grandchildren, Zachary, MaKenzie and Aubrie; and her brothers, Bill and Art. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good News Baptist Church or Grace Hospice.
