It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Gail Ballard-Sims of Hopkins, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Zuidema and Norma Zuidema (Cook); her brother Dennis Zuidema; her son Adam John Ballard; and her daughter-in-law Shellie Lynn Ballard (Irish).

She is survived by : her siblings, Randy Zuidema and Gloria Zuidema; her husband Robert Sims; her children, Dennis Ballard, Lisa Carnegie and Holly Gould; her son-in-law Steve Gould; and her grandchildren, Shaneebree, Jamy Ballard, Hailey Feole, Abbigail Gould, Jayla and Claire Carnegie. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
