He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaMotte and Alvina LaMotte (Breault); and his siblings, John, Russell, Allen, Clarence, Robert, Dorothy LaMotte and Jeanne Dolansky.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Marcotte of Houghton; and his children, Dorothy Ballard (David) of Troy, Mary Eathorne (Paul) of Burien, Michele Olson (Richard), Michael of San Miguel, Mexico, Steven LaMotte (Julie) of Sequim and Mark LaMotte (Sarah) of Hancock. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
