She was predeceased by: her parents, Gervais O'Connell and Jean O'Connell; and her daughter Amy. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Samantha; her boyfriend Mike; her pet Tigger; her son Jeffrey O'Connell (Samantha) of Laurium; and her siblings, Marie Ross (Joe) of Hancock and Tom O'Connell (Sylvia) of Lower Michigan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a graveside blessing will take place later this spring in the Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet.
