He was predeceased by: his parents, Israel P. Griffin and Eva N. Griffin (Etheridge); and his wife Dorothy "Sue" Griffin. He is survived by: his daughter Susan McCreary of Howell; his grandchildren, Elaine Ray McCreary and Lacie Kay McCreary; and his siblings, Eva Roy of Wyandotte, Sam Griffin (Jane) of Troy and Bobby Griffin (Bonnie) of Troy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
