She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Atkinson and Emily B. Atkinson (Miller); her husband Mario Iafano; her sons, John Daniel and Robert Mario; and her siblings, Margaret, Jack, Karen and Mildred.

She is survived by: her sons, Luigi Tomaso Iafano (Maggie Myers) of Livonia, Joseph Michael Iafano (Doreen) of Fowlerville and Anthony Mario Iafano (Darcy) of Fowlerville; her grandchildren, Joey, Cara, Michael, Angelina, Johnny, Danielle, Nick, Bobby and Ashley (Todd); her great grandchild Lyla; and her siblings, Sally (Jim) and Bill (Mary Lou).

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
