He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hines and Dorothy Hines (Dow). He is survived by: his fiancée Josephine Herren; his children, Chase Messner of Jason Hines, II, Macie Herren-Thomas and Mattison Herren-Thomas; and his brothers, Darin Hines (Cathy) and Justin Wagner (Kari). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
