He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Ambrose and Dorothy Ambrose; his sister Karen Sierota; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Joines and Kay Newberry (Ken).
He is survived by: his wife Bette; his daughter Leanne Totin (Greg); his grandchildren, Emma, Lindsey and Carley; his brother-in-law John Sierota; his nieces and nephews, Sue Newberry and Nancy Grady (Brian); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bradshaw, Brooke, Janice Newberry, Sarah Lang (Aaron), Audrey, Andrew and Adam Sierota.
The family suggests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
