It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Bender (Brighton, Michigan), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chapman Kinney and Gertrude Kinney (Van Winkle); and her brother William C. Kinney II. She is survived by: her husband Richard Bender; her children, Daniel Bender (Lisa), Susan Bernardi (Nick), Scott Bender (Shareen) and Debra Baker (Jon); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Joshua, Jacob, Annabelle, Michael, Sierra, Sydney, Scarlett, Sophia, Shaylin, Julia, Benjamin and Madelynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church (9455 Hilton Rd, Brighton, MI 48114). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
