He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Irene Glickert, Joseph and Mary Baker. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Baker and Elizabeth Baker (Glickert); his wife Sherry Macpherson; his children, Zachary Michael Baker and Abigail Elizabeth Baker; his sister Kristin Swartz (Jeffry); his nephew Benjamin Swartz (Miranda); his great-nephew Eli; his nieces, Kate Payeff (Brandon) and Rebekah Swartz; his aunts, Jan Baker and Susan Wade; and his uncle Scott Wade.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Abigail Baker for college education, First United Methodist Church in Howell, and the National MS Society.
