He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skwirsk and Dorothy Skwirsk (Wencel); his son-in-law Dr. Jeffrey Mead; and his siblings, John, Harold, Albert, Stanley, William, Gerald, Joseph, Francis, Kathryn Byrd, Lillian Chandler, Dorothy Newman, Marion Scrimger and Elizabeth Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Lauwers; his children, Anthony Skwirsk (Michelle), Maureen Mead-Mousseau (Steven) and Thomas Skwirsk (Tanya); his grandchildren, Isaac Mead, Danielle Skwirsk (Chase Spell), Garrett Mead (Paige Kendziorski), Kyle Skwirsk, Aaron Mead, Mitchell Mead, Jacob Skwirsk and Ethan Skwirsk; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Mousseau, Ashleigh Kelly (Matthew) and Caitlyn Mousseau; his stepgreat-grandchildren, James Kelly, Ezra Merseneau-Kempf and Elise Kelly; and his siblings, Charlotte Wilhelm, Margaret Stephens and James Skwirsk. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and great friends.
