He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gelder and Martha Gelder (Ludema). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Walcott; his children, Elaine DeLange (Dave), Wanda VanSingel (Dale), Russ Gelder (Kim), Darle Gelder (Shelly), Marlys Gelder, Amy Wittingen (Doug) and Julie Compagner (Cris); and his siblings, Andy Gelder (Madelon) and Marion Herrema (Jake). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren.
