Peggy Birdsley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Birdsley of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Peggy find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kooiker and Joan Kooiker. She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Timmer (Travis) and Julie Obbink (Mike); her grandchildren, Jaden Timmer (Lauren), Aiva Timmer, Brynne Bayle (Tyler) and Jaxson Obbink; her siblings, Melvin Jr. Kooiker (Mary) and Sally Johnson (Richard); and her caregiver Amanda Lyon. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MKD Funeral Home (2371 Riley St, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
