With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lynn VanGeest of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry VanGeest and Sarah VanGeest; his brother James VanGeest (Barb); and his daughter Ellen VanGeest Berends. He is survived by: his son Jonathan VanGeest (Sarah); his brothers, Jack (late Linda), Doug and Greg (Deb); his grandchildren, Joshua (Evelyn), Aaron, Hannah, Jacob Berends (Jessica), Christian Berends, Emma McKiernan (Connor) and Grace Berends; and his great great grandchildren, Halle and Eva. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
