She was predeceased by : her parents, Grover Kinsey and Luella Kinsey (Henry); her spouse Earl Blackman; her son Robert Lee; and her sisters, Alice Ruth Kinsey and Leona Ford.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Blackman Sr (Amy) and Sandra Johnson (Terry); her daughter-in-law Gina Black; her grandchildren, Diane, Michelle, Annette, David, Gary Jr. and Laura; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Kyle, Keylee, Brenden, Alycin, Kaiden, Tyler, Kole, Zachary, Eliza, Cyrus, Jillian, Maxwell, Kira, Henry and June.
