She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Schneider and Caroline Schneider (Gramlich); her spouse Kenneth Gies; her son Alan Gies; her grandchildren, Cara Farris, Sheri Williams and Anya Farris; her siblings, Roy and Eunice Miller; and her children-in-law, Robert Woollard and Gale Gies.

She is survived by : her children, Jim (Letha), Bernard (Cindy), Daniel (Donna), Linda Woollard, Shirley Williams (Brian), Kathy Winter (Terry) and Carolyn Falkenberg (Todd). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
