She was predeceased by : her daughter Courtney Lynn Gabbard; and her father Robert Douglas Gabbard, Sr.. She is survived by : her husband James; her child Chris Gabbard (Brickette); her grandchildren, Christian, Haley and Brooklynn Gabbard; her siblings, Robert Gabbard Jr. (Amy), Michele Martin and Lori Roeder (Timothy); and her mother Cheryl Ann. She is also survived by one niece many and nephews.

Her family suggests donations to the Michigan Humane Society.
