She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Schmidt and Anna C. Schmidt (Gaunt); her husband Roy J. Ruemenapp; and her siblings, Anna "Dolly" Halk (Donald), John Schmidt, Margaret Gotz (Robert) and Martin Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Henry (Stephen), Susan Kuypers (Gregory) and James Ruemenapp; her granddaughters, Emily Henry and Stephanie Shields (Brandon); her sister-in-law Carolyn Schmidt; and her friends, Carol and April.
In honoring Florence's life and memory, the family kindly requests that in lieu of memorial flowers, donations be made to Immaculate Conception Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, supporting causes that were close to Florence's generous heart.
