It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Oliver Vuorenmaa of Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric Vuorenmaa and Selina Vuorenmaa (Kitula); and his siblings, Elmi Jolgren, Lillian Cornwall, Eino, John, Oiva, Arvo, Sulo, Niilo, Toivo, Laurie, Kenneth, William and Elmer.

He is survived by : his wife Irene Vuorenmaa (Niemi); his children, David Vuorenmaa (Kandy), Maria Liisa Detwiler (Darrel) and Paula (Steve Korpela); his grandchildren, Matt Manzanares, Trevor Vuorenmaa (Monica), Dylan Detwiler, Whitney Vernetti (Sean) and Miranda Manzanares; his great grandchildren, Evan, Eveliina and Jaxton; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley, Marlene, Darlene and Marilyn Vuorenmaa. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family kindly requests a donation be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
