He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Forslund and Lillian Forslund; his brother Mark; his former wife Beth (Korpela) of Bessemer, MI; his parents-in-law, Richard, Ethel Korpela, Charles and Anneta Gunderson; and his brother-in-law Roger Stenroos.
He is survived by: his wife Candace; his children, Britt Slade (Spencer) and Gus Forslund (Stacy); his grandchildren, Eli and Elsa Slade; his stepchildren, Alison Walker (Stu) and Greg Snyder (Anne Marie); his stepgrandchildren, Abby Dovin and Keaton Walker; his sister Linda Stenroos; his sister-in-law Sue Korpela; his nieces, Sarah Kiefer (Matt) and Kim Harpster (Curt); and his nephew Mike Stenroos (Amy). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (e5104 E Margaret St, Ironwood, MI 49938). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in Paul's memory can be made to Superior Range Sportman's Club or Trinity Lutheran Church.
