It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew E. Besander (Ishpeming, Michigan), born in Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma "Dolly" Lompre and Lowell T. Besander; and his daughter Lynn Marie Besander. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Besander of Ishpeming and Andy Besander, Jr. of Ishpeming; his significant other Patricia Utzman of Ishpeming; his daughter Kristen Utzman of Ishpeming; and his siblings, Jean Harmala of Ishpeming, Jayne Harvey of Calumet, Jill LaFave-Nelson of Boston Location, MI, Laurel Rosemergy of Green Bay, WI and Lowell "Tubby" Besander of Ishpeming. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
