He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Watters and Jennie R. Watters (Gjolme); his wife Joyce White; and his siblings, Jim, Russell, Robert, George, Clinton, Ethel Hartman, Olive Hout, Katherine Anderson and Betty McEachern.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Eliason, Mark Watters (Patty) of Fond and Susan VanLoon (Dean) of Gladstone, MI; his grandchildren, Eric Eliason (Bethany), Andrew Eliason (Jodi), Jason Leggitt, Jasmine Watters, Christian and Lilly VanLoon; his great grandchildren, Lola, Evie, Wyatt and Ace Eliason; and his sister Grace LaValley.
