He was predeceased by: his parent Betty Jane Phillips (York). He is survived by: his daughter Miranda Cobb (Phillip) of Ishpeming; his father William Phillips of Ishpeming; and his siblings, Linda Wommer (David) of Ishpeming, Patricia Harrison of Folson, PA and William Phillips (Sandra) of Ishpeming. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
