Ronald Smetana Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, at the age of 77, Ronald Smetana (Ishpeming, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Libuse Smetana (Moravec) and George Smetana; his brother George Smetana; his parents-in-law, Verden "Red" and Myrtle Greenwood; and his brother-in-law Ronald Thibeault.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smetana of Ishpeming; his daughter Amanda Pilarski (Jason) of Tucson, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Thibeault, Bruce Greenwood (Norma) of Ishpeming and Mary Smetana of Dunedin, FL. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 environment, a memorial celebration of Ron's life will take place later at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge.
