It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Louise Brooks of Jonesville, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Maass and Catherine Maass (Anderson); her brother Robert Maass (Joann); her spouse Ormon Brooks; her children, Leonard Iakiri (Tamara) of Ada, Joel Iakiri (Shannon) of Grand Rapids, Rebecca Dietlein (Adam) of Kent City and Randy Brooks (Jamie) of Jonesville; her grandchildren, Noah Dietlein, Grace Dietlein, Braylon Iakiri, Jack Iakiri, Ruben Iakiri, Abraham Iakiri, Beatrice Iakiri, Kate Kerspilo (Brett) and Christopher Brooks (Leann); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Brooks, Hudson Brooks, Jade Brooks, Charles Brooks, Jackson Kerspilo and Jacobson Kerspilo. She was also cherished by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice of Grand Rapids, Jonesville District Library, or the Jonesville American Legion.
