We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Avery M. Cross of Kalkaska, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin F. Cross and Lila Crow Cross Drake; his daughter Betty Jane Cross (John); his wife Ruth; his son Robert; and his daughter-in-law Susan Cross (Shaw).

He is survived by : his former life partner Alice Stacy; and his children, William Cross (Barb), Dennis Cross, Gladys Ballard (Leslie) of Kalkaska and Larry Cross (Carol) of Mancelona. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 9 great-great- grandchildren.

He helped lay the foundation for the new school.
