It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Eleanor Hager of Kalkaska, Michigan, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ross Beebe and Esther Beebe (Lewis); her husband Donald'Elwin'Hager; her brothers, Lloyd Beebe and Harold Beebe; and her grandson David Thomas Bull.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas Hager of Williamsburg, Christine Kniss (Richard) of Niles, Laura Helberg of Rapid City and Daniel Hager of South Boardman; her foster children, Tom, Rita, Kathy, Mark, Sue, Mary and Jack Jacobs; her grandchildren, Joshua Sherwood (Brandi), Samuel Sherwood, Curtis Sherwood (Amanda), Meaghan Helberg, Adrian Helberg (Autumn Osterhouse), Christopher Helberg, Matthew Kniss, Danielle Williams (Patrick), Benjamin Hager (Julie), Nick Crim and Jessica Crim; and her siblings, Jerry Beebe (Sharon) and Janet Beard (John). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elaine's honor to Kalkaska Church of Christ or Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Assisted Living Activity Fund.
