We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2022, at the age of 98, Irene Markey (Kalkaska, Michigan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Markey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her former husband Louis W. Fowler; her husband Dennis H Markey; her son Jim Fowler; and her brothers, Robert Evans and Dale Evans.

She is survived by : her children, Michael, Mary Anne Ettawageshik and Wendy Fowler (Michael Oxley) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Marissa Soule (Chris) of Tennessee and Joseph Ettawageshik (Amy) of Traverse City; her great grandchild Frank Ettawageshik (Rochelle); her close friends, Agnes Wheeler and Kathy Seekins; and her pet Peitra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
