He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Thomas and Donna Thomas (Watrous); his granddaughter Melissa Jane Schultz; and his pet Little Bit. He is survived by : his wife Maggie (Inman); his children, Dawn Nichol (Kevin) and Steve Birtles; his grandchildren, Jordan Schultz, Garrett Nichol, Timothy Birtles and Ricky Ray Birtles; and his sister-in-law Katherine Welch (Roy).
