It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Anthony Floreno of Kalkaska, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Giuseppe Floreno and Maria Floreno (Gowdona); his wife Susan Floreno; his son Peter Anthony Floreno Jr.; his grandson Jason Anthony Floreno; and his siblings, Carmen Floreno and Francis Rubino.

He is survived by : his former life partner Eileen M. Newkirk; and his children, Marie E. Floreno, Joseph Floreno (Cathy), Debra O'Brien (Kevin), Thomas Floreno (Jana), Magdalena Filan (David), Rudolph Floreno (Jacqueline), Regina Grim (Garry), Frederick Floreno (Rochelle) and Lynn Newkirk-Hunt. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held due to the COVID restrictions.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research.
