He is survived by: his wife Judy Garver; his siblings, James, Norman, Bob, Polly, Hazel and Nell; his son Donald Parish (Lisa Reese) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Evan and Aidan; his son David Parish (Nurya Love Lindberg) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Claire and Nathan; his stepson Frederick Gellert (Donna); his stepgrandsons, John and Brian; his stepson Karl Gellert; his stepgranddaughter Lucia; and his cousin Janie Marie Sanders of Conway. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
