It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W Koster of Kentwood, Michigan, who passed away on July 5, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, James Koster, Jr. (Bonnie), Jamie Lin Standish (Rodney) and Tamra Koster (Roger Tanis); his grandchildren, Heather Koster (Josh Russell), Bryan Koster (Kelly), Kenneth Koster (Melissa "Missy"), Kamarie Standish and Rachel Standish; his great grandchildren, Kaymen, Malachi, Lelynd and Laney; and his siblings, Philip Koster (Suzie), Marcia De Kock (Roger), Norma Nied and Carol Frieden (Rex). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of James may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods or American Welding Society Scholarship Fund of Grand Rapids.
