He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Simula and Helen Simula (Kinnunen); his son Donnie Simula; and his grandson Daniel Olson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Simula of Keweenaw Bay; his daughters, Mary Tollefson (Calvin) of Seymour, WI and Sally Olson (Jeff) of Marquette, MI; and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Brad Tollefson, Taylor, Jaime and Isaac Olson.
