She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Kalliainen and Sylvia Kalliainen (Routsi); her husband John William Maki; her son John; her sisters-in-law, Betty Kalliainen and Kathy Kalliainen; and her son-in-law Keith Moore.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Gayle Marochek (Gary), Jeremy of Eastpointe, Kristine Moore of Eastpointe, Karen Karttunen (Randy), Renae Patrick (Brian), Andrew of Potterville, Todd Maki (Karen), Emma, John of Ishpeming, Dan Maki, Danny, Michael Russo, Jenni Russo, Jacki Russo of Sault Ste, Marie, Jennie Green (Mark), Evan, Zachary and Davis of Clinton Township; her brothers, David Kalliainen of Chassell and Walter Kalliainen of Portage Entry; and her sister-in-law Mary Smith of Hancock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
