With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Knight Jr. (Kincheloe, Michigan), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2017 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Sr and Elsie Knight Sr (Ruppert); his siblings, Albert Knight (Lillian), Betty Garner (James), Ruth (Ervin) and Arszman; and his children, Harry Knight III and Marlene Knight.
He is survived by : his wife Clair Doris Knight; his brother-in-law Duke McIntosh (Vicki) of Hamilton; his children, Darlene Slone (Emmett) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Douglas Knight (Sarah Kauer) and Doris Lynn Knight; his grandchildren, Kyle Slone (Cassi), Mark Sorenson (Jade), Brandon Knight and Brittney Knight; and his great grandchildren, Kyler, Kyra, Jordan, Aiden and Jayden.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Neebish Island Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m., Lunchon to follow at the Community Center on June 17, 2018. (Ferry schedule: 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. & 6 p.m.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to help with funeral expenses.
