He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Johnston and Virginia Johnston (Earls); his son Jason Johnston; and his siblings, Dave, Norman, Art Johnston and Mari Beth Snowberger.
He is survived by : his wife Sandra Johnston; his children, Kevin Johnston (Kathy) of Kentucky, Linda Murphy of Kentucky, Heather Garrison (Joseph) of Indiana, Crystal Chapple (Michael Phelps) of Indiana and Terry Pass (Debra) of Indiana; and his siblings, Mona Hyndman of Kincheloe, MI, Liane Johnston of Kincheloe, MI and Mike Johnston of Holland, MI.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
