Josephine Korleski Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Korleski of Kinde, Michigan, born in Port Austin, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Stockoski and Frances Stockoski (Jimkoski); her husband Martin Korleski; her son Dennis Korleski; her son-in-law Cameron Sheward; and her siblings, Regina Fisher, Irvin Stockoski, Leonard Stockoski, Roman Stockoski, Christine Wolfe, Emma Yaroch, Helen Lapka, Mary Palmer and Lillian Wills.

She is survived by : her children, Edward Korleski (Susan) of Bayfield, WI and Nancy Sheward of Sterling Heights; her daughter-in-law Patricia Korleski; her sister-in-law Joanie Korleski; her grandchildren, Delores Alexander (Darryl) of Warren, Anna Soeiro of Santa Fe, NM and Ian Korleski (Gina) of Denver, CO; and her great grandchildren, Jenna, Marissa Alexander and Rowan Soeiro.

She was not directly affected by Covid-19, but it certainly indirectly impacted her quality of life, as she has spent the past year longing for her farm and her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Season's Change Hospice.
