He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Hawes and Ruth Hawes (Schook); and his siblings, Allen Hawes and Marjorie Williams. He is survived by : his former life partner Judith Ann Penfold; his wife Judy; his stepdaughter Carrie Crispin (Raymond) of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandson James Walsh (Leigh) of Los Angeles, CA; and his sister Shirley Zahn of Ann Arbor.
