He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Carmien and Louella Carmien (Boullion); and his sister Jeanette Dowd. He is survived by: his wife Vera Mae Goin; his children, Max Carmien (Holly) and Amy Marie Carmien (Linda Peck); his grandchildren, Jessica Carmien (Joshua Winowiecki) and Spencer Carmien (Jordan); his great grandchild Elsie Winowiecki; and his brother Aubrey "Butch" Carmien (Kathleen).
