We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2021, at the age of 56, John Portala of Lake City, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father John Andrew Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Jessie Portala (Butler); his mother-in-law Vanessa Kay Smith; his wife Vanessa; his children, Richard Kominek (Brenda), Jennifer Lewallen (John), John Portala III (Amanda), Jami Kominek and Carrol Portala; and his sisters, Maria Walker, Josette Eaton and Beth Cubett. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, masks covering the mouth and nose will be required, social distancing will be observed, and the funeral home capacity is limited to 25 people at any given time.
