She was predeceased by : her parents, Yalmer Moilanen and Hilma Moilanen (Koikka) of Oneco Location; her husband Michael Sorochman; her siblings, William Moilanen, Joanne Carlson and Ruth Haischer; and her granddaughter Kelly Knudtson.

She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Donna Primeau of Ahmeek, Debbie Wind of Kingman, AZ, Janet Niemela (John) of Belding, MI and Julie Sorockman (Chandonais) of Pleasanton, TX; and her siblings, Jeanette Tossava and Walter Moilanen. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
