She was predeceased by : her parents, LeRoy Swartwood and Margaret Swartwood; her husband Merced Salinas Vera; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Vera; her grandson Jarron Michael Vera; her grandson-in-law Nicholas Galdeen; and her siblings, Delores Waller, Lawrence and Elmer Swartwood.
She is survived by : her children, Janet Noorthoeck (Joe), Rene Michael Vera, Elmer Joe Vera, Greg Vera (Kelly) and Alice McKenna (Ron); her grandchildren, Angela Dickman, Gigi Mananasala (John), Jelean Vera, Marissa Vera (John), Bethany Haynes (Andrew), Anissa Stebbins and Kaley McKenna (Shawn); and her siblings, Esther Schultz, Mary Snyder, Janice Creighton (Michael) and Sandy Golden. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
