Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Leroy Hanson of Lakeview, Michigan, born in Rodney, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 81, on September 16, 2021. He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Hanson and Marion Hanson (VanSyckle); his wives, Joyce and Ethyle; and his brother Clayton Hanson.

He is survived by : his significant other Linda Diem of Chesaning; his children, Robert Hanson (Kim) of Clarkston, Brenda "Bren" Vance (Bruce) of Pleasanton, CA and Bonnie Stroud (Sam) of Pinson, TN; the mother of his children Kathy Hanson of Jackson, TN; his grandchildren, Rachel Hanson-Hervey (Michael), Jamie Hanson and Jason Webb (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Ayden, Michael Webb, Jacob Vance and Dakota Ray; his siblings, Lonnie Hanson (Tam) of Barryton and Beverly Bottomley (Gayle) of Barryton; his sister-in-law Nancy Hanson of Mt. Pleasant; and also, Maeleisa, Skylar and Adam Rainey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
