She was predeceased by : her parents, George Nimberger and Cheerful Nimberger (Young); her daughter Linda Lou Grommes (Behrenwald); her husbands, Al Whittum and Gene Shaw; and her niece Marcia Tisdel.

She is survived by : her cousin Lewis Buckley; her former life partner Laurel Behrenwald; her siblings, Shirley Frandsen and Jack Buckley (Deloras); her nephew Duane Tisdel; and also, Jack and Shirley.
