He was predeceased by: his brothers, Carl and Don Boots. He is survived by: his son Herman; his wife Carolyn; his children, Joseph Boots (Barbara), Kathryn Robichaud (Marc) and Pamela Boots-Doughty; his grandchildren, Jimmy Boots (Kalsey), Alex Robichaud, Niki Robichaud, Sara Boots and Seth Doughty; and his siblings, Bob Boots (Jan), Shirley Helder (Jack) and Carel Boots (Joy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
