He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Sr. Wald and Beverly Wald (Dass). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn C. Wald (Phipps); his children, Scott McDonald, Christina Wald (Troy), Cooksey, Carey Babka (Tom), Hans Wald (Jodi) and Alexis Wald (Karen); his grandson Joshua Wald; and his sister Joan Hinman (Dick).
