She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Swafford and Lena Swafford (Smith); and her husband John A. O'Brien. She is survived by: her pet Miss Midnight; her sister Mildred Brumley (Bernard); her children, Lisa Turco (Greg) and Garry O'Brien (Tania); and her grandsons, Daniel and Ryan Turco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society.
